Our Beginnings

At first, we started this website for our own students to help them practise and improve both their English comprehension and English conversation. They achieved those goals through extensive reading of English Dialogues and short stories. We have written both of those in graded levels in order to keep English simple for them. This helped them quickly grow their reading and conversational skills from basic level upward.

We want to do the same for you!

Over time, we have produced a lot of graded material (Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3), which you can use for free. We hope this website will help you to practise what you have learnt at school from your teachers or from other websites teaching the English Language. We also hope that we can help you enjoy reading in English regularly and become better at this language over time.

What makes us different?

We know that you have your own teacher or that you have a favourite English teaching website. We do not offer grammar lessons or grammar exercises. We give you things to read. A lot of things. We want to be the place where you like to come and read something. We want to be the place, where you can use your English and become more fluent.

We believe that reading is the best way to learn English, if you read at your own level and if you read a lot.

We have written a lot of short scenes from stories. This will prepare you for reading longer books later, when you feel that your English is better.

The most important thing for you is this: most of what we write for you is focused on English conversation. There are many dialogues which will help you speak fluently if you read them every day.

We believe that everyone can learn English. We believe that if you read a lot, you will learn it faster. We believe that you can lean English and that we can help you to learn it.
